Introduction to Organizational Cybernetics
Abstract
Organizational Cybernetics (OC) and the Viable System Model (VSM) in particular describe the necessary and suficient conditions that an organization (or company) has to fulfill to be viable. If those conditions are not met the consequences for the organization may be either an inadequate fonctioning or even the extintion of the organization (at least as a separate entitiy).
